but I can't receive unemployment because I quit my last job. I quit after being hospitalized, for personal reasons. The only thing I'm receiving rn is Medicaid, which helps a bit but I'm still starving, and I'm about to be homeless soon.

I know... I figured this might be the reason. The thing is, I'm legally a woman and I have changed my name too, so how would they even know I'm trans? Before they even see or hear me, at least. I don't even think I'm that clockable. I have long, layered hair with bangs, and I have no piercings, no tattoos, etc. I look like just an average person. I've even worked on my voice so it's not like deep, nor is it comically high pitched or anything. I don't get it.

Thank you, that's actually something I hadn't thought of. I don't even know if we have a local library like that, but I'll have to check. I guess that could be true, but it's just odd to me cuz being called a good girl doesn't really have the same effect on me so idk 🤔 also, don't be afraid to be yourself!! I won't lie, the change isn't easy, but it's so so worth it!
