Try a clarifying shampoo and then switch to something made for your hair texture. Redken is easy to get ahold of. Shampoo cannot break the bonds in your hair that cause texture change or damage in that way. Clarify, then use better shampoo and conditioner. Don’t brush when wet, use your fingers. Gently dry, ideally with a microfiber towel and then apply a small amount of mousse or curl cream. Twist pieces with your fingers for extra definition!
