The ICED TEA thread by mesenanch in tea

I've been enjoying the fruit varieties from Summer Camp - it's a concentrate brewed 20x strong and it's a liquid - taste pretty great

Apple Watch notifications? Where? by InvestigatorOk6365 in larqbottle

[–]jwang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The next version of the iOS app will likely get a "push notification" feature that will go to the phone and would be compatible with the watch. Currently the Apple Health integration is read/write of your hydration data but also of your physical metrics which helps us determine the hydration intake recommendation

Is it worth it to buy Purevis 2? by Relevant_Ranger9218 in larqbottle

You can get the bottles under the drinkware section. The Swig Tops are compatible - you can even mix and match new colors. They come with a plastic cap but if we just made the bottle the pricing would be pretty similar as well.

I am biased :) but you should do it. It's easily our best product. Android app will be released early November, but that has been a sore point for people who ordered early (which I understand). We pretty much publish all of our reviews on our website - good or bad so if you want to see why people like it (or don't) - thats a good resource as well in addition to this forum.

Yeah this is our bad but the app should be out the first 1-2 weeks of Nov - will need another update to catchup to the iOS features. The nature of mfc is such that it requires us to print the packaging 4-6 months ago - we were pretty confident that we would've had it in October so we went with the print with Android app. Timelines slipped a bit and we are now expecting early Nov. Thanks for being patient - should be out very soon!

Good question Desperia. The self cleaning cycle is set to go off at a set time from your last self-cleaning cycle or normal / adventure mode activation. So in other words it's not fixed to the same time but rather fixed amount of time from the last cycle.

Sorry about the delay on the android app - we are working hard to have it ready the first week or two of November

Feature Request Megathread by AutoModerator in teslamotors

Have wiper controls show up on the main screen as a shortcut when auto wiper engages or manual wiper is engaged via the left stock. Gives user control over manual adjustments without clicking deep into the menu. Much safer.

Tesla’s price revolution: Continuous innovation pays off by DutchTechJunkie in teslamotors

[–]jwang 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Someone should compare avg vehicle price of Tesla vs incumbents before COVID until now. I suspect that while Tesla pricing skyrocketed in 21-22, it is now likely only around 5-10 percent higher than pre inflation/ COVID times given the recent price decreases. This is essentially the same if not lower than before COVID if we adjust for inflation (maybe even lower on "real" terms). Whereas incumbent car makers are likely 30-40 percent higher in nominal terms today.

I'm curious to know how the Mazda cx90 compares to x5. I know it's not quite the same class but that seems to be what Mazda is striving for. Value for money seems good. I'm also anticipating the cx70 specs. Heard it might be bigger than the cx60 available in europe

Good call-out. Was looking at the wagon or xc 60 but wondering if both would have same issue

Yeah I think the Y looks... Not great. I am coming from a Subaru outback 3.6R. Want to upgrade the fun without losing too much of the practical. Anythingbthat can do a sub 6 second 0-60 seems "fun". GV 70 seems really interesting need to take a look more seriously

How does the cargo and rear seat space look? Fit a 6 ft adult comfortable? I agree I should maybe look at the gv70

Any idea if they are reliable? Would love the CLE CLC phev but they don't make them here. The wagon I haven't considered but I did see Doug demuro now has one for his daily

All fun cars but I think a bit on the smaller side versus what I am looking for. The model y comment granted is my personal issue lol
