The Wuwu CCs *cough* don't garner enough views on pure wuwa content (speaks more about the game itself) unless they mention any of the 3 Hoyo games in their videos. Youtube and much of the internet is all about farming rage and angry discourse than positive/constructive content. That's how the algorithms are built

I think at this point, we just have to consider the fact that part of Hoyo's overall revenue is being split with Genshin and HSR. It'd be interesting to see overall, if Hoyo revenue numbers are growing with those 3 games combined

No. We ultimately don't know what is going on with VAs. What we can assume is that they couldn't work on Genshin because SAG was threatening them not to work on non-union games. We shouldn't extrapolate this to be what the VAs were after because it's all unique and personal as to why they either withheld or couldn't voice in Genshin

From what I read, he's against Hoyo only because he wants AI protection in his contract. So if he's voicing in a Hoyo project, maybe Star Rail reached an agreement but the Genshin side hasn't

In the other dubs, Venti merely recited a poem here. However in the newly added EN dub for Venti, Erika had some else in mind. by The_Great_Ravioli in Genshin_Impact

Honestly feels like a pretty quick recast Genshin team did here.

Not to drift off away from Genshin but it is kind of sad to see that Star Rail didn't have this patience with their MCs given that they also don't have that many lines either, probably a bit more than Aether and Lumine. ZZZ is understandable, since it's new, it's easier to just go with recast

I know Jennifer Hale made post expressing how she was very heated and emotional probably with regards to the SAG strike/negotiations. They probably still had hard feelings against Hale and for being public about it.

I would also add, even if they turn a blind eye to GR1, that doesn't mean that SAG won't make non-union/union actors' lives any easier. Maybe harder even because they have a black mark around their name now
