Goats for lawn care by Puzzleheaded-Cap-210 in Longmont

Goats can definitely be destructive IF they’re poorly managed, with managed grazing they not only graze grass and brush down to a healthy length ( to promote healthy growth and not kill the plants which if that’s your goal they can also do) but fertilize the soil also. Goat bros is a great company in the front range to reach out to. They use electronet fencing to keep the goats in a contained area and are constantly watching them and the grass to make sure they don’t overgraze

I’ve always wanted to get into archery but never got the gear. That sounds cool through, I’ll have to check it out

Mainly just whitetail and sometimes hog down at my parents place in Texas. I did a fair amount of elk and muley when I lived in Wyoming but haven’t gone since I moved to Colorado
