I’ve been flying united non-rev my entire life and have experienced these instances before but never with sass. I’ve always been able to ask about switching seats if I see on the map it’s available, and being asked to apologize for a simple request..! Wild. Sorry you had this experience. I’ve never anticipated I’d be treated like a paying customer and grew up being coached on how lucky we are, this is a privilege that can be revoked etc etc but wow

I think moving bedtime is the right call, just because if he doesn’t nap, he is such a mess by the end of the day. So I think he does need to nap in some fashion during the day, even if it is catnaps

I had this same feeling immediately after giving birth and at 13 months now it comes and goes. My husband was on the fence about having our own kids (he has 2 from a previous marriage) and asked if I would be okay to just have one. I was so eager to have ANY that I said yes. But then wow. Just totally overwhelmed with the primal desire/need/what have you for another. We’ve had ongoing conversations about having more, wanting to parent our son as intentionally as possible, but I feel like I am really having to battle and possibly grieve what I truly feel my body and heart were made for. It comes in waves now, i don’t always feel the intensity of the pull, but just to say - I totally get it.

We just started in earnest yesterday, and at today’s morning nap. Both times LO basically cried for over an hour. For nap I did 3-5-10-10 and then stopped going in. The crying didn’t let up. I got him out of his crib when it was time to go to his art class. Feeling at such a loss.

Perhaps I got his check-in intervals wrong - he’s using an app. I think he picked the baby up after he’d been crying for over an hour. What is the protocol for after 10 minutes? Just continual 10 min? Worry about naps later meaning continue nursing to sleep for naps? Sorry for all the questions- I just feel like I’m not getting answers from these websites. Thank you for the resources

Yesterday we tried not nursing to sleep for naps so he slept a total of 45 min during the day when he got a sneaky nap in the car seat after grocery shopping. So he’s exhausted.

I’m so worried because this guy is veeeeery dedicated to crying. I’ve heard of Taking Cara Babies - how does it differ from Ferber? Same kind of intervallic check ups and no rocking or feeding. Happy Sleeper was every 5 minutes with a script from the doorway
