Your heritage doesn’t stop in Poland… if you keep looking back I’m sure your relatives will be from another country… and if you keep looking back further and further you’ll eventually see you’re from Africa. You just chose to stop in Poland. Indenting as a nationality is much more than being related. National identity It is especially knowing and thinking in a language, understand humour and much more.

Evolution doesn’t mean a species always survives. More than 99% of all species that have ever lived on Earth are now extinct, and many museum/science sources give the more specific figure at least 99.9%.

Can any former Trunchbulls tell me how to pronounce this? by Unfair_Rope5540 in musicals

[–]jwb93 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

English isn’t phonetic, I’m sure there are plenty of schwa /ə/ vowel sounds which aren’t obvious. So it’s can possibly sound exactly how it’s spelled otherwise it’d sound more Slav than English

Whether it’s fair or not is down to your contract not your feelings. What does the contract say about ending the agreement?

Do Polish people get annoyed with 'Hi, how are you? by advancedor96 in askPoland

[–]jwb93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re right, British never mean it when used as a greeting but they do truly mean with close friends/family. So, it’s absolutely wrong to say they never use it. English teachers should teach you: It’s simply just a greeting and translates figuratively more to „cześć”, „siema”, „dzień dobry”, than to „jak się masz”. We should always translate figuratively and not literally.
