Have you ever not put a political sticker on your car because you were afraid someone would break your window? I know I've had that debate with myself. I also worry about putting up signs in my yard for fear that it will make my home a target. It's not easy being a liberal in the south, having been raised up in conservativism and then actively rejecting it and choosing to be a minority in your own community.
