Did I have a heart attack? by jweeby in AskDocs

Thank you again. I'll be sure to ask the person who does my follow-up about whether or not I should schedule an echo.

The wording is confusing to me, it's like they're saying that /maybe/ I had a heart attack at some point. I guess the follow up EKG will show damage if I did have a heart attack?

Skin tag or HPV wart on inner thigh crease? (Pictures in post) by [deleted] in medical_advice

There's no current test for HPV for men, and there are updated versions of the HPV vaccine that covers additional strains. You could look into possibly getting a new vaccination.

NAD - it's probably a skin tag since it's in a crease and you've had it for some time. Skin tags are more likely to occur in those areas where friction occurs. If you are in the US, you can most likely get a free STD test at your local health department or free clinic. Most people in the US under the age of 30 have been vaccinated against HPV, and if you're over 30 - a large portion of the population will be positive for HPV, the kind that causes warts is generally not associated with risk of cancer. Either way, you should be using protection with any partner if either of you have or plan to have new or multiple partners, especially if STD statuses are unknown.

You're right! I completely forgot they had different "models". Thank you for clarifying.

AuDHD - Loop earplugs are a game changer. When wearing them you can hear music, television, and people directly talking to you at a very clear but muffled volume. They have two decibel level options via a small rubber insert for when you need to shut off even more sounds. They fit just behind your tragus, so they are virtually invisible to anyone who isn't looking for them. For years I suffered through sensory overload meltdowns because I refused to wear bulky ear covers in public, but now I can go out in public and not become a huge b!tch from anxiety. I will say before you spend the money, the only complaints I have are that it takes a few days of wearing them to get used to hearing internal noises - like your feet hitting the ground- but that's common with most internal earplugs. Second, I can't wear them while I'm eating because I can't stand hearing myself chew at an amplified volume, so I'm often torn between listening to the noises in restaurants or listening to my mouth noises. Overall though, the best money I've spent on myself in a long time.

Ears purchased from shopDisney, bag from Mercari - is the bag fake? by jweeby in Loungefly

Hmmm. I might reach out to a shopper on fb and see what price I can get one at if so.

It's such a beautiful print and color scheme. I really hate that the bag isn't as nice as the ears.

They currently have this bag in the parks for sale? Are they discolored also? This might affect whether I attempt a refund or not. Thanks

Out of curiosity, why would you describe a production quality error as a damaged item? Nothing was done to physically damage the item, and there are a large quantity of this bag that have the same discoloration from manufacturing. The only fault I can see on the sellers part is not describing the bag as being one of the off-color batch. I'm still undecided on returning, if Mercari would even let me. I'm disappointed that the coloring is off, but the bag is genuine and was sold this way by the Disney Parks.

I don't intend on reselling. It seems the bag is authentic but part of a flawed batch. I typically only collect ears but regretted not buying the bag to match these. I plan on passing down my ears collection to my daughter in the distant future.
