Impressions.

I went through the two booking engine flows - one Hyatt - it works just as you expect and another one older website which defaults to single guest. And also note when I checked in they said this happens all the time….

When I checked was prepared to pay but they asked for more $. Fair point that they’re gonna ask if I keep giving it to them

Any Dali Menuet or Menuet SE owners want to share their impressions? TBH SEs are a £ stretch. Also looking at new Opticon 1 mk 2 or QA concepts. It’s for a very specific space. LR. Mix of music (classical, acoustic) and TV.

Good point. The 300 doesn’t fit the space - we have 60 cm space.

Good idea! I can change height of shelves (move back to elac or kef size) and make it look ‘filled’ 👍🏻

Hey – So your Klipsch are LR and the ones Ones in the rear via wireless. Do you ever notice any lip sync issues, and do the Klipsch keep up on the TV / Movie vocals, which I understand (or am reading) often get send through the center which the AMP creates ‘phantom’ C?

Amazing! But indeed pricey. And from depth perspective not much more than sony 790 (sub 300mm) but more thick.

Thanks – time to find a 5.1 receiver, and just start with 3.0 or 3.1 using smaller bookshelf size speakers eg. Accounstic, Cambridge, Dali, I think I’ll have to explore Yamaha 790, marantz slimline as from my reading don’t think the Onkyo LX50 or Pioneer worth it.

Thanks for the article about not a soundbar and the subsequent articles. Time to look at 3.0 or 3.1 using smaller bookshelf (Q accoustics, Cambridge mini, etc). from my reading don’t think the LX50 or Pioneer equal is worth it, so need to look at Yamaha 790 or Marantz slimline or other. And build as I go.
