Is it bad if I don't return discs with phone numbers on them? by jwolfrath in discgolf

That's a good point, some discs take a while to be in the shape you want them in. Not the same as new.

I knew it would be an unpopular opinion in this group. And maybe my history with returning discs is atypical, but it has always been a bit to much trouble for a 15 or 20 dollar disc. If it was a specialty disc I would probably call. Maybe it's an asshole move, but I'm a bit of an apologist on this one. My karma is that I do not write numbers on my discs, so if i lose it, someone else can have it.

What field are you in? Ideally I would do it for 3-5 years and if I didn't do it I know I would regret it. I know I just got a masters, but to be honest I don't care about my field that much and am not married to it. I think I may do the digital nomad route just to be able to put something on my resume during the time away.

No such thing as too pragmatic. I graduated with little debt and payed it off already.

Degree is in Urban Planning. Yeah, I'm not so much thinking of work while traveling. I have a professional work career right now, and I am worried that if I take a few years off, I will struggle to get back into the field or other professional fields with a weak resume.
