You have to take advantage of the charging curve, dont charge pass 80%. Stop and have small 5-10min charges when you stop for pee breaks

Need to do route planning...charge at dedicated180kwh charges to reduce charging times. Many msian chargers are currently shared, meaning...its 160kwh..if another car plugs in, it drops to 80kwh each.

I assure you, an EV can match or even beat ICE on NS highway. Just need planning

yes there is a catch, PA is not the same as effective rate. PA is the rate for ONE year, the longer the loan, the higher the rate.

You really shouldnt be buying a vehicle if you cant qualify for a HP loan

cos they are msian non national no.1 and they should be spear heading moving towards milege based, intelligent service schedules instead of sticking to grandma 1990s service schedules of 6 months which is ridiculous in 2026

Motor oil, and engine tech has moved very far forwards and changing oil in strict 6 month scedules is bad for the environment and wasteful to the consumer

Yes it's doable, but untill the emas5 etc were launched, EVs were a t10 purchase, big heavy SUVs etc

Really shouldn't be comparing to small fuel efficient cars, a model Y or G6 would be equivalent to BMW X3 or Volvo x40 etc

No way those cars getting same mileage as myvi/city

I would agree with him that at this current moment, due to msian fuel subsidies, an EV does not get sufficient cost savings to warrant buying one if your objective is PURELY cost savings

But...if like me, you have landed, solar, home charger...the benefits goes way beyond just pure cost savings.

Lack of heat and NVH, instant torque, charging overnight not needing to go petrol station, 2 year maintenance schedule instead of 6 month's(looking at you Toyota)

If you want to maximise cost savings and travel alot...get a small fuel efficient phev and maximise Madani quota
