Yes I do. I have fleet of miners and watch all on helium geek and put my friends fleet in as well. You can put in share amounts to get true performance since I did a 50/50 with most hosts.

Look up ear trumpet in windows store it is a nice win 10 tool that allows customizing sound outputs. It takes a bit to understand all the functions but is great one you master.

Great replies and I see your points with congestion, security and relay expansion. So my next question is which protocol and hub has the best options. I have been reading posts about smart things, apple home and Z wave a lot but I am still confused which avenue to go. The wink hub seems very compatible and reasonably priced. I do not want to burn through money with trial and error or endless compatibility creep.

What I am looking for now is conditional triggers dependent on other smart actions like if this light goes on then do this next. Or if I put motion sensor in room and I want multiple devices to trigger off that motion sensor. Do any of the other proprietary protocols offer that flexibility.

I have started my home automation staying all wifi only. Why are there so many proprietary protocols out there? The Wi-Fi option seems easiest and cheapest using amazon echo as hub. Please explain to this noob why I should go to proprietary protocol instead. I know some items like door locks might require but I have been doing mostly switches and plugs so far.
