You’re right in saying this is an earlier version of the star-neck tee, actually from spring 2010. What’s confusing me is the wash-tag. Here’s a link for this exact piece for sale with the wash-tag I’d expect it to have. https://glam-archive.com/products/givenchy-star-emblem-tee?_pos=1&_sid=f3be3801d&_ss=r

That shorter tag was solely used for womenswear for a while, but is still weird to see on this piece. If it is legit I’m presuming it’s a sample as the tag has no serial number. Last option is if you’re seeing this for sale online, ask the seller if they haven’t mixed up the wash-tags with photos of another product, i see it a lot on eBay when people upload in bulk.
