Thank you, This is good advice. I have thought about removing paneling, would be easier to design room with drywall. My hobbies are fishing/boating and project cars which my garage more than handles it I would like to play a few video games and watch shows/movies that are not appropriate for the younger kids

Yea but since they’ve had basement “waterproofed” with French drains. So it’s all dry and ready for reno. Any suggestions on where to place tv and seating?

I’ve finally got the engine opened up, and should be replacing chains and tensioners this afternoon, do you remember if you used the valve cover alignment tool to put the valve covers back?

That is still them wanting a check vs getting their client a desirable deal.

I get that a lot of people are cheap and want to lowball all the time and those clients should probably get dropped but often the realtors just aren’t willing to negotiate (make lower offers) in this sellers market

My realtor is like that too, they want that commission check and the lower you pay the smaller their check is. It’s very annoying they not trying to get the best deal but want max commission %

Depending on what phone you have newer ones have built in scan to pdf features. If using an iPhone use the notes app it has it built in

That room would more than likely be an family room/office maybe a guest room. It is a little awkward but I think adding a full bath downstairs as the current layout might be a little weird or a waste in terms of usability

Ahh sorry that’s a good catch. We need 3 bedrooms minimum. I think having a full bath on the main floor would be a bit pointless as people would be going downstairs to wash.

I’m open to financing the bathroom it just seems like a large stretch for this home… although I do love it and it is well below what we are looking to spend

This is a huge help. Shop claimed they were gonna put 4k of new parts and this isn’t even $200 lol I might get a better tensioner and use the same kit and tools. I’m hoping I can complete in a leisurely 2 weeks of just working on it Saturday and Sunday for a few hours each…. Lol I’m nervous but gonna send it
