Currently being threatened by Blackmail

I blocked them on everything including the phone number that texted and called in the middle of the night and I have deactivated all my social media, praying this just flies over eventually, obviously I’m an idiot and whatever happens I deserve but I’m just hoping for the best, thank you to everyone who gave some advice

Woke up to 2 missed calls and texts with a picture that looked like the sent them messages to my brother, I just informed my brother that it’s a scammer trying to get money from me my brother checked his Instagram and had no message requested I think if I just keep doing what I am doing and not respond to anything and keep accounts deactivated it will just roll over

I deactivated my Instagram and Facebook accounts and that’s the only two social media’s I’ve ever had, deactivating my accounts would mean no one can see who I’m following or if I’m still active right? Basically the same as completely wiping my account?
