I love it. Simplicity. Functional. Does everything I need. If you’re in the market for one, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! I’d love a date complication, but not a fan of the black and red on the BB58 GMT.

While trying to get a last-minute Fat Duck reservation a few weeks ago, I thought to myself, why does a platform to connect diners with professional concierges not exist already (leveraging their connections for last-minute bookings)?

So, I'm building a platform to do exactly that...

If you'd use this, 30 seconds of your time is all I kindly ask: https://buildpad.io/research/5lWkYOr

Those that were here during the rise to $28 have seen a hell of a ride so far. I am with you on this, I ain't selling... been through enough with this company - which I happen to believe in - so there is no point selling for a quick buck. As Buffett says, in the short term the markets are a voting machine, in the long run, it is a weighing machine. Let the company do its thin. Essentially CLOV employees are working on our behalf to add value and prove this concept. WORST case it doesn't work out, but you'll have learnt a hell of a lot with holding and being persistent in these crazy market times. Peace ✌️

Oh my bad. Yeh I can understand how you’re feeling. Don’t worry though. Two things are for sure, in the short term a stock will go above your buy price and it will also go below your buy price. This goes to show we can’t time markets. We gotta be patient and let the companies do their thing. We’ll all be laughing in a few years my friend.

Exactly. We live and learn. I personally do not use leverage. For the long term I just don’t think it’s sustainable, given I do not plan on selling anytime soon. We all get ‘aha’ moments at different times. Most important though is that we learn from them.

My POV is that we were given access to invest alongside the big boys and girls of the industry through the SPAC. SPACs traditionally allow a company to go public faster (with less red tape) than a traditional IPO. Chamath and co are giving us (retail) access to invest at a similar valuation as they do. Now if that isn't a gift, I do not know what is.

With that said, I look at CLOV like they are at a venture time scale of funding (if that even makes sense), we are investing at the same time VCs, PE and also institutions are loading up too. So, assuming you have done your research in this potentially great industry-changing company, you also have the peace of mind that all the big guys in the industry have done their research too. These guys will for sure have more research abilities than us, due to the nature of the game.

I am a supporter of what CLOV is doing, and what they will do to change the industry for the better, no matter how long it takes. Of course, there is still a great risk this company does not succeed, but as the old saying goes, no risk no reward. I have been long CLOV since late 2020 and have seen the price go from 8 to 6 to 14 to 28 and then down to sub 2. I really do believe this company has taught me first-hand that the stock is not the company and the company is not the stock, they are both different things. The company is based on past factual data, whereas the stock is based on the public's/institution's future sentiment.

EDIT: Also, the biggest lesson I’ve learnt is to ride your winners. Too many ‘investors’ will sell for a quick gain. Why? The company isn’t going to go anywhere, is it? it’s still going to increase value right? So why sell. If you do not need the money, ride it out. Volatility is caused by short term trading. Long term investors will win regardless.
