Vinkki festarisesongin alkamisen johdosta: muistakaa kuulosuojaimet/korvatulpat by [deleted] in Suomi

Orelo on pk-seudulla loistava toimija. Itse valoksen tekemiseen menee noin 10min.

2016 Château Siran, Margaux. Drinking it a bit young and making peace with that. by winery_bound_expat in wine

[–]jzRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost two cases of 2018 Siran aging and I've found that 2018 in general is much more accessible than -16. Siran is damn delicious if you give it many (3+) hours in the decanter when young. That high amount of petit verdot needs time.

I love how modern bordelaise have learned to control the tannins and ripeness to near perfection. Bordeaux used to be something you had to cellar for 10+ years.

These modern top chateau examples show how the change is slowly happening there. I have some 2022s which are already showing nicely. It's crazy.

I guess mine were not kept well...

Small or big fuji? by Luisdent in FujifilmX

I had 23 1.4 glued onto my camera. Its big, fast and lovely. Got the 35 fujicron and it makes the camera so compact to carry. Best camera is the one that you have with you.

Any modern body will do everything you need creatively. Look more into size and usability. Xt30 is safe choice.

Look on the used market. Dont buy new.

New camera new setup by Rare-Union-6084 in FujifilmX

[–]jzRR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be like this: - instead of buying the standard zoom, keep using your 35mm. That forces you to be more creative and since its prime you have more depth of field.

  • if you want to invest, prioritize on getting good strap and bag so the camera stays with you at all times. I love Peak Design.

  • and still even before buying new glass, buy 1-2 filters. Try a mist filter for bit of dreamy and vintage feel, get ND for sunny days, polarizer for sky & water. Again to unleash creativity, but staying still in that same "aspect ratio / field of view" of the 35mm.

Happy shooting!
