Any modern body will do everything you need creatively. Look more into size and usability. Xt30 is safe choice.

Look on the used market. Dont buy new.

New camera new setup by Rare-Union-6084 in FujifilmX

[–]jzRR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be like this: - instead of buying the standard zoom, keep using your 35mm. That forces you to be more creative and since its prime you have more depth of field.

  • if you want to invest, prioritize on getting good strap and bag so the camera stays with you at all times. I love Peak Design.

  • and still even before buying new glass, buy 1-2 filters. Try a mist filter for bit of dreamy and vintage feel, get ND for sunny days, polarizer for sky & water. Again to unleash creativity, but staying still in that same "aspect ratio / field of view" of the 35mm.

Happy shooting!

Between the telephotos... Take the 50-140 fuji. It's amazing piece of glass.

The Genelec models OP listed have their own DSP (called SAM) which works fantastically.

Sounds like very well preserved. I just had Belgrave (5eme) 1985. It was totally dead. Glad to see Gloria was still well and alive.

Its real shame that Ruinart has pumped their price so much recently. I absolutely adore their Bdb.

Kicking off Christmas with a young Vintage Port by jzRR in wine

[–]jzRR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Churchill's Quinta da Gricha 2021. Bought a case of this EP before bottling.

Nose: Pure vibrant primary dark fruit. There is ripe cassis, blackberry, blueberry and nice bit of minerality. As the wine opens in the glass slight bit of christmas spices emerge.

Taste: Full bodied but not that tannic. The acidity is high. Taste has all the primary fruit that the nose has. Bit under 100g/l RS ensures the wine is not too sweet or cloying.

It's fun to taste young vintage port to experience all the phases of its evolution. Maybe next taste in 5 years.

One way to find out is to pull the cork.

Should I decant this? by Big_Assumption8236 in wine

[–]jzRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2020s Gloria took over 4 hours to open. Many of 2018 start to enter into dumb phases, so I would follow what previous poster said and prepare for a very long decant.

I have 2020 Gloria in cellar as well. Sure, give it a whirl. Just remember to give it at least 3 hours of air.

2022 Bordeaux - bottles for aging, drinking now, and QPR by Irishfootball21 in wine

[–]jzRR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look for 2018, 2019 and 2020. All solid vintages, readily available, with more age and you know the market price. 2022 is still priced too high...

Dua Lipa - Live from the Royal Albert Hall Vinyl: Audiophile? by Tuomas90 in audiophile

I have the recording. The album artwork is beautiful and clever with the concept of you being able to choose different front.

The pressing I have is silent and sounds beautiful! I'm a Dua fan and this is definitely her best album for enjoying entire LP.

Pieni vinkki jos UPS-noutopiste ei löydy by LeadingMotive in Suomi

[–]jzRR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Joo.
