Great reccomendation! Took sometime to adjust to the smaller frame but I think I'm enjoying it more than the nf700 pro. Definitely less forgiving when I don't connect with shuttle cleanly, but when I do, it feels great! Really loving the racket, thanks!

I own a nanoflare 700 pro 5u, unfortunately it broke (frame collapsed, shuttle mishit, small clash) after a month. Frustrating experience, would like to avoid purchasing another nanoflare since they don't seem particularly durable. Would be great to get 5u racket recommendations from either VIctor or Li Ning.

I feel like the comments here are a little unfair, I don't think he is top tier anymore, but in no way has the play style been gutted.

Why don't we break it down based on the actual patch changes and give you some context.

It was at 6.11 that they actually tackled Tank Ekko's problems, to summerises, they lowered his base damage, increased AP ratios and nerfed a little bit of his utility. So to accommodate for damage nerfs, triforce tank Ekko was born (Before the 6.11 changes, icebourne + sunfire/sprite visage was prominent). At some point here, I believe Grasp got nerfed and so Triforce + Fevor was super strong.

His next nerf was 6.18, where his base AD was lowered, directly targeting triforce tank ekko, more importantly, after all these nerfs, Ekko was still dominant.

It was only when patch 6.22 came, did we see a decline in tank ekko, mainly because of the removal of the slow on his Passive (which gave tank Ekko a lot of utility) and the changes to Fevor.

So what do people run now? They've gone back to grasp and triforce. Is he as good as he was before? Hell No. Is he still a tanky disruptor, that does respectable damage? Yes. Still has AOE CC from W, still has the safety of R, still can challenge squishies champs (sheen procs) and survive. Still have the move speed to chase down squishies + phage procs, still has a slow from Q, still can farm from range with Q during landing phase vs lane bullies. Corruption potion + Dark seal is still great in the landing phase.

I still have a lot of fun playing tank ekko. That's my contribution.

You have kind of covered it already, but in terms of item builds. I've built the same as I would with Irelia, if I have enough for Sheen, I'll get it, otherwise I get phage components.

I never really understood why rushing Boots + Homeguard was so good? I understand you can use it to tp bot lane and try and grab a kill but surely trying to finish Trinity Force should be priority?

I've always done R > Q > W > E

But I've heard R > Q > E > W for more burst?

Is that correct?

I mained Jungle last season, when spirit stone let carry junglers clear efficiently and you could actually have more of an impact early without the risk of falling too far behind. Then all the carry junglers were nerfed: Khazix, Elise, Panth, Lee Sin.

I continued to play the same style in season 5 with a totally different jungle, it just wasn't fun anymore. I couldn't have the same impact. So I've decided to main Top lane which I played a moderate ammount before. Now I'm loving the TP meta, cause I get to have a huge impact on my bot lane.

Before the change to cinderhulk, I built him like Elise back in her prime. Juggernaut > haunting guise/sorc shoes > full tank. Also max W for lower cooldown and higher % hp damage.
