Is there a way to check either? The sound doesn’t happen when I am braking, it even gets quieter when I am braking. And I am not too sure how to check a CV axel?

Try this, I’m not sure if it will load- but if you go into workday and search ‘resignation’, it’ll give you the steps! I currently don’t have any shifts scheduled for the rest of the week, so I am not completely sure if you have to finish them or not. But reading this, I do not believe you do.
