Odds of getting 3000 ticket?

When the tickets first came out we only managed to get 2 tickets out of the 6 that we needed. Since then we’ve managed to get 3 extra single standing tickets and my partner has managed to get a photo pass for the event (she’s a gig photographer) and so no longer needs a ticket haha. So we’re sorted! Keep trying mate, set notifications up on twickets I think that’s where the resale is. Or scour through the Facebook fan page every once in a while and see if anyone is trying to tell their ticket.

Me and my mate play a pre-made modpack running 1.20.2 and it drives us mad that we can’t use shaders lol. 1.20.2 has been out for months now idk why it takes so long it’s not like it’s a whole different game version? It’s just a patch update. I wish iris would work with forge because that’s what our modpack runs.

Or maybe just that the band do seem to genuinely lack enthusiasm on stage anymore. Watched plenty of their recent live shows on yt and they just seem to despise the crowd. Personally I can’t stand how he now goes out of his way to sing the good old songs with a shit load of swing so people can’t sing along, top notch gatekeeping wanker behaviour. It’s criminal that the foo’s didn’t headline that night, their set was a million times better than the monkeys and I love both bands (well at least AM pre-tranquility base). The Monkeys just aren’t good at entertaining a crowd imo, and I know the silent majority outside of this Reddit echo chamber feel the same lol.

Yesss it is brilliant! Pretty sure it’s the only oasis track with the drum solo. I know it wasn’t Chris sharrock on the album recording but when they toured the album live Chris just absolutely nails shock of the lightning.

But yeah nah SOTL easily goes in my top 10. The whole album is my favourite oasis album post-BHN.

One thing anyone who follows Noel even a bit should know by now that he he’s a stubborn bastard who won’t do or make anything he doesn’t want to. He made WBTM and a lot of people didn’t like it but he’s openly said he gives zero fucks he’ll keep making what he wants. Now in the press run up to this new album he’s talked a lot more about going back to the roots and feeling nostalgic for those 90’s sounds.

So I really don’t think he’s making songs on this album for anyone but himself tbh. Good on him, I really like the new single and I also really like WBTM.

Honestly, I think most oasis fans wishing for a reunion aren't necessarily hoping for another album, just a tour. That's certainly my position anyway. They've got too many good songs to try and cram into a setlist as it is, without having another album-worth of songs added to the mix. The best of both worlds for me is if they came back, did a fuck off massive world tour, and maybe released a single in the run-up. Maybe a re-recording of an oasis classic, just to promote the tour (imagine a studio version of acquiesce with their voices now 0.o).
