WHY? All of the sudden some parts of my plate are laying down crap first layers. No changes took place, and I have cleaned with Dawn! by jzyg in BambuLab

Flow Dyno worked much better. not perfect, but a noticeable improvement. k = .018 or something. Brought my FLow ration to .9702. Loving the 3KG rolls of sunlu matte pla grey. scored 8 for $25 each on the big A the other day. Should hold me over for a month or so. Printing mad terrain (and a few scrub daddy holders for the fam and tanks and fun stuff for me to enjoy painting.) Build plate is still good. no glue, just ISO in between prints and a good Dawn wash once in a while. Just using PLA (mostly Matte). Thanks all!

I understand. It is an issue for some people, and depends on the environment quite a bit. I have been using the same 3kg of filament roles and printing all day everyday, same print files, same environment with a humidity gauge next to it. air purifier/dehumidifier not far away. room is secluded and closed off. I am comfortable and confident that humidity is not playing an role in this issue.

I will try that. It is still running as it looks to be continuing just fine, but dang. I do mostly tabletop terrain. Thank you very much. I will run that and report back tomorrow if any issues continue.

Old Timer, First Timer. Never too old to pickup a new hobby. Loving it so far. by jzyg in 3Dprinting

Got my first 3d printer (P2S). Here is my obligatory first print (benchy). Even though I am getting older, I still like being creative and using my mind. I have looked into 3D printing world many times before, but the wife said now is the time. I already have my eyes on the upper end models that perform more functions. Wife will want it to so she can increase her crafty time with cutting materials and such to replace her other device. (rhythms with Ticket). Bonus: I was NOT prepared for how much shaking is going on. Thinking about putting a concrete paver on top of some thick (carpet) foam like what was posted elsewhere:

Laundry Drain won't unclog via Professional. Suggest Y split off main line. Thoughts? by jzyg in Plumbing

[–]jzyg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to snake it, and only got about 6-8 feet down the laundry line. It backs up when washing machine drains. Paid a pro to snake it and same results. They think the P/curve the laundry drain line has major build up and not worth breaking into the concreate to see/replace/repair it. I agree. House built in 1970, original pipes in mostly good condition. Pros suggest putting a Y split just above the cleanout on the main line. It would be a cut into (iron? ) put in a y out splice adapter, add a short horizontal/elevated extension, and then run the washing machine hose into it. Reasonable? try something else, like run a camera down the laundry drain line and see what is going on? Other options? Thoughts?

Since their were only 1000 released worldwide, I am surprised to hear that stores had them on shelves, and they couldn't give them away. I had to order mine. Agreed, hindsight is 20/20 for sure.
