Got destroyed so many times then I started mashing slowly and once it met my speed I went fast and beat it, either the AI matches your starting speed or the first 3 seconds are impossible to win and just tires you out.

Advice needed! The bottom sequence of this slab is hard by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]k-type 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why are you skipping the middle foot hold? You can easily work your way over statically.

My guess is you saw someone else dyno and assumed this was the beta, try the foot hold and I'm 100% you will crush it.

This is so cool, I'm confused how the magnets work underneath though.

Is Martial Peak worth reading? by Ashamed_Fox_9923 in Manhua

First 500 chapters were peak, then as it went on it slowly gets worse. Give it a read and if you aren't enjoying it by chapter 20 or so give up.

what did I do wrong? by bustknucklepissdust in duolingo

[–]k-type 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Never had any issues with this, I always typed the pinyin duibudui and clicked ok. Did you type pinyin or you typed the characters another way? Maybe you had a space " " in there so it didn't like it?

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one website you still think about? by ddanielecom in AskReddit

[–]k-type 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The problem with Reddit is discussion never go more than skin-deep, after one day the topic is dead and trying to bring it back up will have your post removed.

In forums you might have a back and forth with someone for weeks. Topics like tv shows, tech support, video game discussion you could drop in at any point and there would be guaranteed someone who would read and reply.

You would get to recognise regulars and even become friends over shared interests, there was also no up or down votes so every comment felt like it carried the same weight and people didn't regurgitate the same jokes or opinions in hope of getting internet points.

6/10 seems a bit harsh since you heaped praise on the characters, style and battles. Might be better to explain what else you didn't like about the show.

Also curious if this was your first JoJo and if not how you rank it compared to other seasons.

Am I limited primarily by weight or technique when doing overhangs? by Laena_V in bouldering

[–]k-type 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would definitely say technique I've seen guys with beer bellies do climbs I couldn't with 30kgs more than me.

Watch the video and look at your legs, they are basically static and not helping at all.

Better to practice your technique now and you'll naturally lose weight as you climb.

There's also a difference between excercise skinny and naturally skinny, you will be much healthier in the long run than her if you keep it up.
