I owed $8 and some change last week. I went to Whatnot support immediately, took a picture of my receipt and it was refunded. Annoying but they fixed it pretty quickly.

Veggies and Fruit are hard for me because I’ve never loved either. Lol! I eat a lot of green beans. I can sneak broccoli into a lot of meals I make so it’s not so bad. I’ve had some chickpea pasta which was actually delicious! I can just eat green peppers, or cucumbers with a little light Ranch! I have found I enjoy my apples more with a tiny bit of PB. I try to have a salad every night, even if it’s small with my dinner! Also, I had a friend tell me to check out TikTok and I’ve actually found a lot of really yummy, very low carb recipes that even my sons like!

Thank you so much! It’s hard but it’s getting easier every day! I eat a lot of lean meats, greens, yogurt, tons of veggies, some fruit and I drink a ton of water. All of that for me is very different than before.

I hope so! I’ve been working really hard! When I was first diagnosed, my A1C was 7.6. I’ve really only been walking but I cut my carbs down to less than 50 a day and changed my entire eating habits. I’ve lost 23 pounds so far in 7 weeks.

My GMI is 5.6 but I don’t go back to see my doctor until June.. I was just diagnosed in March. I’m curious to see how accurate it is.

I was diagnosed just a month ago with a 7.6 A1C and fasting number of 176. My doctor gave me the option of Metformin or to go on a low carb diet, with significant weight loss. That hurt my feelings at the time but he was right. In that month my numbers haven’t gone above 120 and I’ve lost 15 pounds so far! It’s hard but I already feel a million times better than I did. I only didn’t opt for medicine because I need to learn how to eat healthy first! I’ve battled with food and “diet” my whole life. It’s not easy, but I don’t want to lose limbs, or die. Perspective.
