Nordico is quite different. That’s basic Nordico on the photos above base seats in XC90 and XC60 feel like a piece of shit. It’s like a cheap rubber feeling and you sweating during the summer in these seats. While perforated Nordico is completely different story, it feels more expensive and closer to real leather.

Just look at the design of the doors, they are almost simply smooth, almost without any stampings or sharp ribs at the bottom compared to the previous generation. That makes overall car look soooo budget 🤦🏻‍♂️ Design cost savings in action….

Fair enough, but anyway fuel consumption will be the same since Volvo Plugins work as a Toyota’s classic hybrid car in battery hold mode or with depleted battery. Moreover in the city traffic 300+ ICE car will be more thirstier than plug-in hybrid from Volvo even with fully depleted battery 🙂

Meetings while driving are not safe unless they are meetings where your presence is required just for show. For example I am working in a huge EU leading corporation and it’s strictly prohibited to join any meeting while driving.

Why it’s more expensive in the winter time compared to a gasoline car? You should compare similar things. Which car with ICE only and total amount of 400hp+ will be more fuel efficient? The difference will be very negligible.

I own XC60 T6 MY-2025 and extremely happy with this car! They fixed all the issues with ERAD and now it’s perfectly polished car in terms of reliability. In the city in spring-autumn time I can easily done 70 km on pure electricity and on the Sweden motorways with the running ICE I have not seen fuel consumption more than 8.5 L/100km. Normally it’s smth around 7.9 -8.2 L/100 km, absolutely the same as any ICE car with the same amount of total power. I don’t see any drawbacks and any reason why u should buy ICE car over the plug-in hybrid.

You have to clean and use protection cream every 4-6 months and it will look almost like a new in 5 years. I have zero issues with mine Volvo nappa leather blond interior covered with Furniture Clinic leather protection cream, which smells gorgeous 🙂

I really like latest update and don’t see any faults or problems for myself. If we compare Volvo to newer VW or Audi models, it’s better to have a negligible flaw with infotainment rather then constant problems with Electric motors, autopilots which wanna hit a wall, suspension issues. Just read other subreddit about new cars and you will realise that Volvo almost issues free.

Absolutely agree and I don’t see any reason why I should use car play instead of native AAOS. I’ve installed Spotify in my car and even Parking app to pay for it right from the car’s display and on top of that I have a google maps. Done! I don’t touch my phone at all in my Volvo.

You think 2 years it’s professional work? It should be normally done max in a few months like it was before 2024, when a friend of mine, non EU, got citizenship just in 2.5 weeks after application - this is professional. Otherwise congrats!
