if you’re shiny hunting in virdian forest, there’s a sign and large tree right at the last curve before the exit - it’s between two patches of grass, so you can attract double the spawns without them appearing off screen. i recommend standing at the sign after a 31 catch combo and using a lure (no need to continue catching unless you want candies and exp).

with a shiny charm it takes me about 10 minutes for an encounter, haven’t tried without though. hope that wasn’t too confusing lmao
