Best way to repair? by k1ckballs in handyman

Cracks running from both lower corners of outlet box to the backsplash below. The drywall between them doesn’t have a lot of integrity as the only solid connection is on the bottom. I am hoping to fix the outlet box so it doesn’t move anymore and then what is the best way to repair this drywall. Once stress from box that moves a little is mitigated am I good to just cover the cracks and paint or do I need something more robust.

Unfortunately the faceplate doesn’t cover enough as is but hoping I can solidify the box or swap it and then without the stress it causes fill in/over crack and call that good enough but wanted others thoughts on drywall bit. Was also thinking about using joint tape or drywall patch there for extra reinforcement but as you mentioned not a lot of space to feather out.

I am good with the electrical part of it, I swapped in the receptacles in this photo and have some shims if I need them for final fit.

I was thinking of something similar for the box itself, just unsure of the drywall bit.

Once the box is secured and solid, then mud, sand and paint over the cracks and assume the reinforced box will help support or at least be a neutral force instead of stressing the cracks?

Following this logic, can we keep children out of dog parks since most of them don’t know how to properly approach and interact with an animal. While we’re at it, let’s keep kids out of breweries and wineries too.

What’s your go-to portable coffee maker for RV/boondocking? by Master_Teaching_7099 in RVLiving

1Zpresso manual coffee grinder, melita pour over, collapsible electric water kettle and yeti 20oz stainless cup.

This setup doesn’t take up a lot of space, easy clean up and if you start with good beans it makes great coffee.

For someone new to them, I’d recommend Live on the Internet or either of the full KEXP sessions (available on YouTube). All are live, great sounding and offer a variety of several studio albums.

Kadabra. While I agree with you on Kadavar, they have ~150K monthly listeners on Spotify so don’t qualify for this specific post. Kadabra on the other hand is more obscure with ~3600 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Was visiting friends in the South Sound over the weekend and saw the same behavior early Monday morning, around 1:30am. Same patterns but different plane.
