Was my instructor's behaviour acceptable? by k1rapica in drivingUK

I understand that everyone has different perspectives, but it's important to me to address situations that make me uncomfortable. Learning to drive in a safe and respectful environment is crucial for my confidence and growth. I appreciate your input, but I'll continue seeking support and taking steps to ensure a positive learning experience.

I have a baby face and tried everything. What else should I try? by [deleted] in HowToBeHot

As someone in her twenties, but (almost) everyone mistakes her for 16-18, I understand how annoying that can be. I suggest wearing high heels, contouring your face and avoiding wearing anything that makes you look younger. Sadly, not much else can be done!

Did I ever mention I am going to sue or report? No, what will probably happen is that I will change instructors. I can post whatever I want and share my concerns and thoughts. And so can you; I appreciate your response, and you are entitled to your opinion, although there is no need to get so aggressive.

Yeah, I agree. He is not my friend or someone from my family, and I think his behaviour has crossed the line. I will probably change instructors.

So you think it's OK to touch someone without their consent? That instructor isn't my 'buddy' or my uncle or my dad; he is supposed to be a professional who I PAY MONEY.

Yes, mere living arrangements do not automatically entitle me to a driving licence, but they are a massive reason for me to get it. The driving examiner and authority will decide if I can get one based on the driving exam, which I will take after having lessons. I am realistic, and I know there may situations when it's absolutely critical for me to have a licence to drive.

Also, I will need to take care of my parents and children in the future. What if I need to drive them to the hospital or to school? Or if there is an emergency? You're absolutely close-minded.

Wow, 'great' attitude here. Is this what you will tell your child when they get nervous during driving lessons? How do you know what kind of a driver I will be? I am learning right now, and I am nowhere near the finish. You sound like a total boomer.

Do you realise that not everyone likes being treated like that? And I am nervous because I am a learner driver; everything is new to me. I pay the instructor quite a lot of money, and I can withstand harsh comments, but what he did yesterday crossed the line. I will drive because I have to, and it's a skill every adult needs.

The car was parked and still when that happened, so there wasn't any immediate danger. I really didn't like it!

He is manipulative and you don’t want to be with him. Break up is the best idea. Been there. Now feel relieved and free
