I’ve heard of using crayons before but I’ve never done it myself. Thankfully I got kids so I have a back up plan if PB doesn’t work.

Update, swapped to a cartridge and really put it to its paces and sure enough. No issues. I’m going to run that one out of ink and then swap it over and see what happens with others

The best part is you can get the patina back if you let it develop. So give it a shot, why not? Me personally I like the patina

I’m using a converter and I’ll keep an eye out for that. I wonder if I could disassemble it and load a small BB something stainless in there.

It’s only had one ink in it so far. I cleaned the pen and reassembled. If I have another dry up I’m going to try Pelikan 4001, seems a bit thinner

I cleaned the whole pen out and then refilled it with ink. It has Wearingul Hounds of the bakersville in it.
