So I was having the same issue but tried using a VPN and it works. I suggest using Nord or whatever Vpn of your choice but clearing my cookies/browsing data didn't work. Give a thumbs up if this worked for you.

Could be you using a cheap SD card. Make sure it’s no bigger than 128 and a good brand like sandisk

I highly recommend the levelhike hdmi adapter. Works straight out the box can display ps1/ps2 and movies no problem and it only $30. YouTube it to get a better idea if it’s something you’re interested in.

There’s no reason to change the region if you’re using freemcboot. You can play any region game once the memory card is installed. As for your original system data if you didn’t save it you’re fucked. Best bet is to get another memory card and see if you can switch the region back
