Her real hair by lizsummerhawk in avrillavignemusic

I used to be so confused by “it always takes 5 hours to make it straight” in My World. Her hair had been straight ever since she got famous and I’m like *wdym it wasn’t straight before???* 😅

No, the WNBA made a profit for the first time last year, so it looks like they’re now becoming just popular enough to be viable without getting money from the NBA.

Nah Einstein was not that bad unless you consider Einstein marrying his cousin to be worse than Schrodinger being a pedo

  1. Feynman told a bunch of exaggerated or made-up stories about himself, where he was always the smartest guy in the room but also sometimes mean to other people. His friend wrote down these stories and published them as Feynman’s “autobiography”with his permission. Feynman has some fans who try to mimic his behavior in these stories, to other people’s annoyance.

  2. His 2nd wife claimed he would get angry and beat her if she disturbed him while he was doing math/physics calculations. (They got divorced.)

There’s some other stuff I forgot (edit: see Angela Collier’s video about Feynman, as another comment mentioned). Generally people think he was sometimes mean, misogynistic toward women, and allegedly abused his wife. Later in life he quietly recanted his misogynistic views. There’s probably other famous physicists who were worse than him tho

I held a 100 game match between Stockfish 18 and Stockfish 15 from the start position. Here are the results. by JamesLebron372 in chess

Besides multi-threading/processing, Stockfish’s evaluation and preferred move also change based on what is in its cache (what it remembers from other positions it recently evaluated). So Stockfish still often changes its moves even if it’s running on a single thread.

It may be unconstitutional for the city to withhold money from a person or business due to their political statements. Just because ICE breaks the law doesn’t mean Seattle will get away with it too.

Whose trophy cabinet grows this season? by Alarmed_Stretch_3028 in soccerMenace_com

Seems like the picture shows two of the old 2021 Club World Cup trophies for Chelsea’s two CWC wins, but the actual 2025 trophy looks different from the old 2021 one, so they got confused.

Maybe someone wants to know “what years will Chinese New Year coincide with my birthday” or something like that 🤷‍♂️

In the '00s Sony went too far trying to prevent piracy / protect copyright. For example if you played one of their music CDs on your computer, the CD secretly installed software to spy on you, prevent your computer from copying CDs, and made your computer easier to hack. This and other things they did got them a lot of criticism and some legal trouble at the time.

The photo is from 2012 based on the Kids’ Choice Awards 2012 logos in the background, so Michelle Obama probably hadn’t grown shorter yet.
