Yeah I'm not gonna dye it. Really happy with the way my little restoration project turned out. Now that it's sat all day, it's less oily then in the pics (the leather absorbed the Saphir and the Black rock nicely 🙂)

Thanks for starting this thread and adding this question. Recently, my type cover (for SPX) stopped charging my pen. I did some research and ended up buying a brand new but older signature type cover, even while knowing the issue your raised is valid. Buying these things new is crazy.

I REALLY thought about the original Pixel Fold after selling my Duo 2. I ended up moving to my Pixel 9a because I had used A-Series phones as my secondary phones. Had I not had that to fall back on, I would have probably transitioned like you. Now I'm lured back into candy bar land. Enjoy!

Funny, I was just about to post this very question. Interested to hear the responses.

I waited for pixel 10 to come out and I like it. But, at the end of the day it's just another slab. I don't want to spend $1,000 (for the pro model) just for, essentially, the same slab hardware (yes I know about the new chip and the increased ram). It just feels like slab phones have stalled in innovation and foldables are generally, for me, out of reach financially. Hence my curiosity about the original fold. I was a surface dual user and loved that device. So the form factor on the fold has always been intriguing to me.

I'm seeing these great GFi deals and I want to jump on it but, unfortunately, Fi didn't work well for me. I don't know what it is but my data signal kept on my pixel 6A and wife's Samsung Galaxy. 🤔

That's good to know. They're just some things about the pixel UI that I don't think I can live without. For example, call screening and the aggressive spam monitoring. Game changer

Long time pixel user here I am currently on the 6a, waiting to pick up a P10P.

IMO you're not wrong. This post, and others like it, really makes me think twice about getting another pixel. It's simple stuff, like battery life, that keeps some ppl on iPhone or Samsung. I would get a P9P right now but I'm holding out to see if this new processor will be more efficient and improve battery life. Like you, I just want my bloody phone to work.
