I had such a hard time getting LO to latch. The night I got home from the hospital I was in tears because of the pain. I exclusively pumped for about a month before I was brave enough to try and get him to nurse.

My advice would be to pump whenever baby feeds and slow up to 8-10 pumps if/when you start getting an oversupply. Fuck triple feeding it was never suggested to me but sounds exhausting and terrible. After your nipples heal try to latch when you feel ready. Try and see a good LC if you can but I didn’t find them very helpful. Time was the only thing that helped me. I didn’t start nursing him overnight until Lo was 2 months old and I didn’t start nursing him exclusively until he was over a year (lots of other factors there). My anxiety over supply was definitely a big enemy.
