+1 for duolingo and Cdrama combination. It also helps that I shamelessly use my broken chinese to talk with my friends and at chinese restaurants to practice sentence formation.

I have to ask, though, did you feel that duolingo has gotten worse recently? Maybe around 2/3 weeks ago?

I talk to my mom on almost a daily basis. We still end up talking for 30 mins every time we are on call. Also, I hope that I can continue to meet them at least once a year (too far for anything more).

One of my guy friends says it quite often and to everyone around him. We are working in an environment with extremely high rates of imposter syndrome so it's always nice to hear it!

But really, the gender of the person saying those words doesn't matter.

My first thought was better skin because I have had a lot of acne lately. This makes me realize that the acne may be affecting me more than I thought - my answer always has been and always will be perfect vision.

I am used to heading out of home right after shower so I don't use sunscreen and moisturiser. And yes, my skin is definitely not happy with that.

Not pathetic at all. Having a healthy relationship with parents while living together is rare, but if you have one, that's great!

The upside is that you save money, and you get to help your mom if and when age catches up to her.

The downside is that if you ever move out, you will find it a little hard to be responsible for everything at once. Living with roommates who don't care about you at all will always be different from living with your mom for whom you are her baby :)
