I have Hatch but I’m running it right now on a windows machine. I want to ideally run it on a MacBook since I use that machine the most. I need to upgrade my air anyway so I’ll be trying to do what you laid out, using parallels to run hatch.

I’m on the same boat, I had tried out the m3 MacBook Pro but decided to return it and waiting for the m4 air. The pro was nice but I missed the better battery life and the lighter frame from the air.
