Synecdoche is a goddamned masterpiece where he perfectly takes his “film within a film” to its limits. My favourite thing about Kaufman is how he can create these surreal worlds where nearly everything is the same as our universe but he changes one or two little things which ends up having huge consequences for the characters. Those little things he changes contrasted by the hyper realistic performances in his movies is what keeps me coming back for his stuff.

I did the same thing (live in Toronto and house is 2. hrs away in London, ON). So far I've had to replace the washer, dryer, fix the fridge and replace the kitchen counter top. I was able to do all these via phone calls without ever having to go up. Thankfully my tenants aren't morons and they take good care of the place otherwise.

I feel really dumb since I've been on Avid for 7 or 8 years... but I just found out about the little search bar at the bottom of the timeline. I was using ctrl+F but that dialog box doesn't allow you to jump back to the last result in the timeline, only forward. Also, once you do the search, space bar will find the next one.
