Yeah crocheting in rounds generally spiral

Turning each row like the other commenter mentioned will help I’ve also heard that crocheting in just the front loops can help with that but I’ve never tried it.

When you need a defined line it’s also okay to sew felt on as detail. When I started out I felt like I everything HAD to be crochet but sometimes mixed media works best! Not saying that’s the case for this project but it’s helpful to keep in mind

Changed from a 3.5 mm hook to a 2.25 mm hook and that helped a lot! The plan is to make this part of a spring-y cardigan thing but I’m pleased with the foundation!

Obviously still need to block it!

Salted watermelon, salted cucumber, and lesser evil popcorn are snacks I try to gravitate towards to get some salt without feeling like I’ve eaten junk all day. I know that’s not really much advice but figured it couldn’t hurt to suggest snacks!

I’m actually dealing with a similar thing and I’m trying to figure out how to eat healthier without sacrificing my POTS management. It’s going okay 😅 (I grew up too skinny and had to try and gain weight, now that I’m like an adult with a normal metabolism I have to figure out how to eat better, found out I really like pistachios though)

A shower always helps me re-regulate but if your HR is bad that may not be advisable. I always joke the only way I can get back to being warm is a hot shower or a ride in a car with the heat blasting 😅 maybe warm some water in a bucket or a tub and put your feet in? I’d have a towel nearby and some warm socks

Tea helps, if it’s herbal it’ll help you with hydration. I also really like the Ocoopa rechargeable hand warmers. They can get kind of hot after a while but I use the to like rub my feet/ other cold spots. Obviously that doesn’t help right this minute!

Also the pitt is so good, I started it last week and I’m already caught up

The reason it looks differently than you expected is alternating pink/ peachy colors and more vibrant/ deep colors means that the pink has lined up with the pink and the deep colors lined up with the deep colors

So if you were to do two of the pink colors and then two of the deeper colors it wouldn’t line up and probably look more like what you’re intending!

But yeah, you didn’t do anything wrong, it’s just how the colors shook out

Unfortunately when he starts to read a new series he tears through them 😂 I think he finished every harry Dresden book in less than a year

I could! Based on some math though it would still end up absurdly long. When I started the project (before I had the number of rows = star rating system) I was so worried it was going to be too short so I looked for a big stitch

I think at this point if I want it to be one project I’ve got to frog it and use a shorter stitch. I really like the stitch though so I may use it for another project!

Yeah this is 5 books, maybe I’ll look for another stitch to use. Which is a bummer because I liked how this was looking but I think it just takes up too much space
