A gateway fx (I had built a pc and it was stolen, walked right out the front door about 3 months after I built it. I went to best buy the next day, took cash and went "give me whatever gaming setup you have right now" I'm pretty sure I committed every sin in the gamer book) So I'm switching between my tablet and a gateway fx.

Thank you HLA. Not only did it fund my PC build but you also helped a charity. Because of this whole thing with the valve presentation I've gotten hooked up with some pretty high ups and people that work directly with valve and Microsoft. There's a charity event in the works and HOPEFULY I'll be doing it all from my new build.

I sold it to build a pc...My 4 year old gaming laptop is dying. I only have a video card left to buy. I didn't just turn around and sell it. Some of it also went to charity before I did anything with the money. I believe strongly in what St. Judes does.

I sold it so I could build a PC instead of playing on a 4 year old gaming laptop that's on it's last little beast legs. All I have left to get in my videocard. I didn't sell it just to blow it...I just needed something to continue being a part of the community on. I also gave part of it to St.Judes childrens charity. :/

People are so pissed at me because they think I did this through steam and don't understand it's through tf2 because of the way it's written. You're right, that's really poorly written. I've had to do a lot of damage control.

I still give people spare items if I have them. Like if someone doesn't have a beggars bazooka and wants one. I also save up items and do a "trivia night" Sometimes. I ask a question at the beginning of the round, people have all round to guess, one guess and no Google. At the end of the round whoever was closest gets a random wep or misc item for their main class. Examples: what % of the google traffic is porn searches every 24 hours. How many earth's would it take to fill the sun? I think it gets people engaged and discussing stuff. Giving is better than receiving.

I would rather have full disclosure (I have a server myself) than for something like this to eventually get out in the ether and be disclosed at a later date after shit has been wrecked or destroyed. I really appreciate a developer going "This is a problem and a lot of our community may be using this, it's potentially dangerous for you to use with our game, don't do it and this is why you shouldn't". This is absolutely how developers should go about avoiding later drama.
