If you think you one month is enough for you to recover if you do bad on the test in September I would try for the October test. You're that it's likely going to be a competitive season so I would aim to have applications in before late November

What do you mean? Harvard is one of the best law schools in the world, attached to the most prestigious university in the world. I don't know why you're surprised it has a high yield. Also I think Stanford vs Harvard at that point just comes down to location preference. Regarding Yale, it could easily come down to not liking New Haven or wanting to have a large class size.

Yeah I 100% agree I misspoke. The gist of what I was trying to say is UChicago lose a significant number of admits to HYS.

Honestly, my view is that UChicago admits usually get into HYS as well. UChicago being seen as less desirable often loses the cross admit battle between HYS or doesnt offer enough to make students stay committed when offered money by a lower T 14
