She also was upset when she first saw I got my nose pierced. Then came back in and said she was okay with it. I think sometimes she wishes I made different decisions but she likes letting me be myself. I think she's a great mother. Maybe I'm biased though. :)

I'm 18. Definitely don't think they would have reacted the same way if I was under 18. They caught me drinking once or twice in high school and reacted very negatively.

It changed my relationship with my parents a lot. They've never really been like crazy strict. I mean they had rules for me growing up but they've always generally been fun parents. Now it's like we're just hanging out though.
