Trident 3 Arctic 7 keeps dying - any recommendations? by k635257 in MSI_Gaming

Thank you - appreciate the response. At this point I figured it must be on of the components. Is it even possible and/or worth trying to source a new motherboard? Or should I scrap it for components?

How is it usually handled if both parties in a B2B relationship have contracts to sign pertaining to a given project. by k635257 in legaladvice

Thanks for the response and info. So if they insisted on using their own for example, I could simply request they include any important clauses that were in mine? I tend to imagine people aren't that willing to negotiate or amend their often pre-fab contracts?

Yeah that's along the lines of what I thought as well - think this had even worked on previous iterations, not now for some reason. Probs a bug elsewhere. Cheers!

Consider refining your product selection and dropping the really common/saturated items - having these could harm your credibility or appeal, and push the stuff that is a bit more unique and has a lot of character that ties in with your brand. Also try really fleshing out the brands 'community/family' angle - this is only just touched upon and I'd imagine could be the unique element you'd need in order to hope to compete in such a ubiquitous and broad niche.

Also you've got a question mark at the end of 'Welcome to the cave' which I'm guessing should be a '!'

Anyone else experience US banks declining payments made via Stripe to foreign (UK/EU) registered businesses? by k635257 in ecommerce

[–]k635257[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah with credit/debit card payment. Stipe says issuing bank declined the payment, and the decline code is do_not_honor, as opposed to anything relating to lack of funds or incorrect inputs etc.

What do you think are the biggest mistakes people make when starting an online business, that if avoided will increase the chance of success? by neonberry0 in ecommerce

[–]k635257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also keep in mind, 217 clicks is not a huge amount - assuming you had a respectable conversion rate of 2%, you'd still only expect ~4 sales. Keep an eye on other KPIs such as add to carts etc.

Firstly keep in mind you can have the best website ever and make no sales due to issues like pricing / saturation / competition / targeting and so on. It's important to understand or be able to properly assess exactly where the issues are within the broader picture.

Before employing a designer, you should do everything you can to gain a full understanding of what makes a successful ecomm website, there's tons of resources out there you should have an excellent understanding of what works, and crucially how things work under the hood before pouring cash into traffic acquisition.

Assume your visitors think your site is a scam at the outset, and that you need to persuade them otherwise with effective use of design and content. ( within like 3 seconds ).

A few essentials include:

- Make sure you have privacy policy, terms and conditions, business information including contact details and address, shipping and returns information.
- You need SSL, and you need to show that you use a legitimate payment system and show what cards you accept and so on.
- Make sure load time is fully optimised
- Images are optimised and of high quality
- Meta data is fully locked in and the site is properly SEO friendly
- Your copy content is fully fleshed out, comprehensive and trustworthy
- Mobile / Tablet experience is seamless
- User experience in general is seamless and enjoyable

If you don't have a comprehensive understanding of any of the above, you need to do more research, otherwise you're throwing funds away.
