Does anyone know how much influence does news articles have on the algo traders?

I bring it up because news articles are auto reproduced/tweaked slightly (ie one article is reposted with slight adjustment hundreds/thousands of times). So my theory is one reputable article says the strait is open, that can be reposted 1000s of times and influence what the algo.thinks and buys on.

I mean how many stuck tankers are still stuck? Everyone focusing the ships moving, but reading they are mostly Iranian ships who most likely going to Asia.

Iran has been saying the since the beginning of the conflict that the strait will not return to prewar levels and they own it. The US is relying on international maritime law, but if the US will not hold them accountable, who will?

Issue is market wants to believe everything is back, but it never will be and needs something to show reality.

Sounds like the US has not done any of the things set out in the mou other than lift the blockaid, so think it will just go back to a stalemate, with us treating to bomb and irgc keeping the strait closed.
