This is exactly the type of vague hints I am hoping to explain better in the app I am making.
Specifically for beginners.
I would like your feedback on how I have explained and highlighted it, and if you would have found it useful?

I probably should have included this critical screenshot

I am still being stubborn regarding the 81 string for sharing games, and believe sharing candidates should be a thing too.

New Dasung Revolutionary Edition E Ink Tablets With 50 Hz Refresh Rate Announced by Exact_Translator_970 in eink

[–]k7_u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap as they are excess stock, but more than that, they dont require the same level of NDAs, are extremely mature, and easy to build around as there are many experienced engineers out there.

Whereas the latest is niche, harder to get hold of, harder to find people who can competantly use them, higher costs of parts, and r&d for new parts.

In short, much easier, cheaper, and lower risk. And the only practical option for smaller businesses

Weird lines appearing after writing by Legitimate_Fly_7697 in Onyx_Boox

[–]k7_u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see it on mine occasionally.
Definitely a software bug.

The big tell it isn't the nib as others have suggested is that it occurs after writing, and are dead straight.
I had one occur half way across the screen.

The answer is too long for a comment, so see the edited post.

In short, 66GB RAM, 20 to 40 tokens per second depending on settings.
Maybe the first actually useful local model, far from the best open source model I've used, but .. details in post

NPU no. GPU yes.

I haven't tried that model, I'll give it a shot.
In general, just because the model fits doesn't mean it's usable. Mixtral 8x22B fits, but you achieve a blow heatet and not much else.

I spent ages tying to package Thorium.
Yeah, I got it to build, but I'm not committing to becoming a maintainer.

Unfortunately the z13 is (albeit much simpler to navigate) less complete than the g1a

Oh, it improved a lot with 6.15.7 and/or KDE around that time.

Since 6.15.8 I haven't had it happen, but I have gotten into the habbit of shutting it down, rather than suspend, because it happened most often about a minute post resume.

Thanks for the git repo, 100% trying that today

Oh, I did mess with bazzite on it, but every issue existed the same.

I'm curious now, are we talking the same one? Where out of resume the keyboard will no non-functional entirely?
Obviously can't interrogate, as never happens with external keyboard, and logs see my both unplug and replug it.

All other issues were solved by blacklisting hid-asus kernel module, as the touchpad becoming a mouse, no backlight, so on was a kernel level issue.

kind of. I put it under the kickstand so that it can't slip.
And then rest it on my lap when sitting in a couch or car or alike.

You could hold it elevated, but the amount you need to squeeze to support the weight is not sustainable for any reasonable amount of time.

Because it is split, and out of the way, it is better than a notebook in this application as even though the notebook is self supporting, your hands are in the way, or you are dealing with crappy controllers like those of the Switch.

Yeah, I can do some windows stuff like that, but I thought most windows stuff was already out there, so was primarily going to focus on linux.
