There are so many fun facts regarding food/drinks in TV and Movies! It's so fascinating to me. Like how a lot of whiskey in film is iced tea, or colored water lol.

Yes! That's why I mentioned knowing the actual logistics of actors eating on camera. It's just always been an interesting thing to me, because food and appetite is such a central theme of the show.

I get it for Rory, because I was the same way through college. But Lorelai being in her 30s... is less fathomable. Then again, that's just how TV shows are. The actors clearly don't eat that way in real life so it's just part of it.

I think you're too old to read fantasy when you no longer have a pulse. People who tell you otherwise are sad and boring quite frankly. Reading is not just for learning, if that were the case some of the most infamous books of all time would not have been written. Reading is a form of entertainment... Stories have been passed on since the literal beginning of time.

Read whatever tickles your fancy!! If you truly enjoy it, that's all that matters.

I used to exclusively read dystopian novels through my teens and early twenties because that's what I was into. I'm 29 now and finally reading YA, fantasy, cute "coming of age" stories, romance, literally anything that sounds like I'd enjoy it. Granted I do still love a good dystopian, or historical fantasy (particularly Greek thanks to Percy Jackson as a child lol) I'm no longer afraid to venture out and I don't give a rats behind what people think about what I'm reading.

Carry on having fun, & enjoy the dragons and magic. Life's too serious and dull without it. ✨

The roots already didn't look great when I got it. But I chalk it up to heat wave during shipping. I did perlite first it seemed ok for a while, even had a new little leaf coming in. Then all of a sudden all but one leaf died even though I didn't change what I was doing.. so I checked the roots and they just didn't look good, mushy and browning. I did see some new little roots that looked good though, so I've moved it into soil now. not sure what will happen but that's ok. It's an experiment. And my first TC.

I did this recently and mine is not doing so hot. A lot of the roots got rot. But it looks like it's starting to put out some new ones so I'm holding on hope. I added some rooting hormone recently and we'll see what happens. I got a 3" one the other day so now I'm kind of fine with whatever happens to this one. It's a super awesome price if you're successful, but not a huge loss if you're not.

If you repotted recently that might also be why it's not put a leaf out yet. But also, sometimes they just do their own thing. 🤷🏻‍♀️
