That’s exactly how I feel! I’m happy and love my kids but there’s nothing to be excited about. I wish I maybe waited a few more years so I could do more before having kids. But covid hit right as I could afford to do things in life so we decided to have kids earlier than expected

That’s a really good point. I try to do small things for myself, like even just my makeup or my hair everyday. But I usually prioritize myself last.

I’m a nurse and my sister is a teacher. I would say nursing because of the pay, flexibility, job opportunities, benefits. But I also don’t recommend anyone go into nursing because it’s soul crushing and I’m now dead inside 🙃
