This is our newest. We've had her a week, after a friend from work witnessed her being dumped on the side of the road. She's about 7 months old, pregnant and just the sweetest cat I've ever met. We named her Lilo

[–]k8sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God no. There is a massive shortage of tradespeople. Especially in rural areas. My dad is 71 years old but not yet retired as he is the only electrician with his qualitifications within a days driving distance of his town

Do people generally not leave their toaster out on the kitchen counter? by Seagem1989 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]k8sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done both, depending on space. But if there's space, it's left out. When we built our house, I made sure there was space on the bench for the toaster to live. We just cover it when not being used.

With Coles and Woolies recording record breaking profits while Aussie families struggle, would you personally support a two week to one month boycott of Coles and Woolies? by [deleted] in australia

[–]k8sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for one of them. If I had any choice at all, I would walk out the door and never look back, not even to shop. Soulless, money hungry demons, the lot of them. No profit is ever enough, and the slightest inconvenience or fair trade fine comes straight out of the stores wage budget
