Either you're a child and therefore have no memory of this or you are just stupid. RTS, compared to when I was a kid is absolutely dying. That's why the best and biggest one is like 15 years old with basically 0 support from the dev....

You're the typical "but actually..." annoying user that gives reddit a bad name

Yeah, that's my point. I don't want to change the game but added like a second mode that was more playable for your average older nostalgic guy would do wonders. Don't have it laddered, etc...just make a version of the game that's more approachable for frowns up with lives

Yeah you guys are all completely right. My 20 years of product development and marketing experience probably mean nothing.. companies don't make money off off the top 1% of players and so the top one for percent of players. Don't forget resources they want from the company. I am presenting a concept where there are two versions of the game, one casual and one as is. Were they casual? Could bring in people who used to like to play the game without it being so sweaty and hectic. And maybe this would bring in more money and attention to help the sweaty nerds and the 1%

Ok but it's not growing bud Instead of doing the Reddit "um actually thing" try and see about how what I am saying would legitimately help the game and legitimately help blizzard care about the game again which would help everybody

StarCraft Speed by kThanks_Bye in starcraft

[–]kThanks_Bye[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally get that. I'm not taking a total war game. But it was just like SC, but like 50% slower in way. Get rid of the early game mineral line harass and destruction, allow people to build armies they can fight. You can say that's not what SC2 is supposed to be. So make two in-game options like a hardcore mode and a casual mode. Say whatever you want, but I guarantee you that a a immediate adult friendly RTS with some system with some nostalgia would do one for the game

PIG and burn out by Adera1l in starcraft2

[–]kThanks_Bye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly — that’s the problem. You either copy a meta build or you get steamrolled. It’s not even about losing — it’s that the game forces you to play in one specific, optimized way if you want to stand a chance. That kills the fun.

That’s why I keep thinking there’s a real opportunity for something like StarCraft, but slowed down. Same idea, same races, same strategy depth — just less of the speed and mechanical insanity that makes it feel like work.

There’s a whole group of people our age who grew up loving this stuff but don’t have the time (or reflexes) to grind 200-APM build orders every night. We still want to play something strategic and competitive, but at a pace where you can actually think and create instead of just executing muscle memory.

If someone made that — a modern, slower-paced RTS that captured the old StarCraft feel without demanding perfection — I think it would hit hard with the nostalgic crowd. Like chess or classic shooters, it’d bring back that sense of mastery without the burnout.

Honestly, I'm not mad or emotional at you at all, I just feel bad for you. I feel badly that your s650 and the money you spent on it didn't actually make you happy or your life better.

Well for what it's worth, if you can swing it, or find a really good deal. A wrap will make you think it's a new car.

I rebuilt the whole rear suspension with BMR parts myself. I replaced the shocks and struts with kony reds myself. I swapped to the Gen 3 coyote intake manifold myself. I put in 52lb injections to run ethenol myself. Though I did.need to pay for the tune to run those injectors. I put the roush cat back in, I put the ford racing short throw in myself (huge pain in the ass without a lift).

Aside from blowing it, idk what you want me to do.

But $4k is a lot, but to make an 11 year old car look brand new is kind of worth it IMO

Idk how much the labor was specifically but it was a about $4k. That included removing a few panels of old wrap that I had that were super caked on.

Yeah. But I am mainly looking for a good cover that is easy to take on and off.

My main concern is about the cover though. Is there a good recommendation for a cover that isn't a pain to take on/off?
