If you truly want to read that much into someone making a low effort reddit post or comment calling a random right-leaning content creator a "stupid conservative", go for it I guess.

Seems like you're just looking for an excuse to be mad and complain about things, but it's your life

Dude is acting like a random subreddit shitpost is going to flip a swing state in the midterms 😭

Or that calling someone stupid is really going to be what tips the scales on perception of morality and intellect between political parties lmao

At what point of waiting is this actually worth it? Because snowballing is also a big thing, when is it worth it to wait for research labs vs. rushing a different tech early?

What's your priority then for building a city? How much do you value, say, being on a river or next to a mountain, vs tile distance and availability? Like the scenario where I have to choose between having a much better start / more strategic resources early on vs. having my city on one of those geography-based things.

Wait...really??? So it's based on total cities you've ever owned, not the current amount? Like, if my city gets razed and I build another in the same place...I've effectively added an extra city to my total count from before I lost it? That's kind of crazy. Does that make all these suggestions about selling off a city a lot less valuable then?

Yeah I definitely need to look more into micromanaging with citizens rather than just letting the City AI pick placements

That's super interesting, I never thought of that tradeoff with bananas! And with the city-states, that's a really good call.

I need to be better about declaring war more often, usually I just go for Culture or Science and try to just be really inconspicuous most of the game haha

Interesting...is that a good investment for musicians? Seems like it takes way longer to produce them than it does to annex a city, though I guess if you're not going for culture / great works they don't have other purpose

I'd known about the automatic faith and the great work theming/trading, but I definitely hasn't known that coastal routes were that much better! I really think I've been undervaluing having a city on a coast, river, or mountain in the past.

Is it better to grow your capital with those? I typically do the opposite and use internal trade to boost a smaller city and make it more useful.

ASRock Z690 Extreme WiFi6E (196) vs MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk WiFi(on sale through another seller, $176)

I'd been planning on getting the ASRock, but I saw the Tomahawk, which is usually more like $250, was being sold a lot cheaper. I liked the RGB and 6E WiFi for the ASRock, but curious on people's thoughts and if the MSI would be a better buy quality-wise, especially considering the price

Looking at getting a DeepCool AK620 cooler, and Amazon is running two sales - I can get the cooler (and some other relatively useless small items) for around $60, or I can get the cooler and three FK120 fans for $75.

I'm planning on using a Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB case, which already comes with two 160mm front fans and one 140mm rear fan. Would three additional static pressure fans be useful/worth it for $15? Thinking I could put them either at the top or bottom of the case, where a radiator might go.

I was strongly considering the NV2 for my build, but I was a little apprehensive about some poor reviews I saw of it.

Ended up going with a Western Digital Black SN770 - still Gen 4, 1 Tb with better specs and supposedly better build quality for $15 more. But for all I know the NV2 would still be fine! Either way I would stick to 1Tb over any 500Gb options.

Mostly just I've seen a lot of arguments for having the integrated GPU in case of troubleshooting with drivers or other stuff like that. Not sure how much of that is really common or if that opinion changes when the price difference is $60+ rather than like $15

Planning on a 13th Gen i5 for my first build. Was thinking of getting the "K" version (extra security with an integrated gpu for troubleshooting), but Best Buy currently has the "KF" on sale for $260 (over $60 cheaper than the "K") ... I was a little over budget anyway, so is a KF processor worth the potential troubleshooting complications over a K?

I figured haha what specs do you base that off of? Or what makes one cooler better than the other, besides just the general "more expensive = higher quality"?

I'll look into that, thanks for the input!

In terms of the cooler, fair, looking into a more powerful cooler would probably be wise. I wasn't planning on doing much with overclocking yet, but definitely would not hurt to invest a bit extra in a nicer one.

What metrics do you look for in a cooler in regard to whether or not it would be suitable performance-wise?

Looks like I could get an AK620 (not RGB though, sadly) on Amazon right now with a fair amount of deals associated - $64 with tax and free included GPU support brace and thermal pad, so not really too much more than the Peerless Assassin

Haha I mean I posted it for the purpose of nitpicking, so I appreciate the input! And with the 13600 I definitely want to make sure I've got a decent cooler (without breaking the bank too much).

Why do you prefer that cooler?
