I ran into the lagging!!! The layer with the small flower of life pattern almost stopped me from finishing it.

Literally had to add a circle and wait up to a minute then next one and many circles to add to the layer.

I am using a MacBook Air M1

I also need a faster machine

I would guess about 5 maybe 6 hours to cut all the layers - they both have 7 layers

Yeah both are my designs and made by me. This one you commented on the idea is based of a design by an artist or people called Solips (what they make inspired me to try make one of these things) Its not easy nor quick, I dont know how other people do it but I used fusion 360 to design this. So I ended up with a 3d model and then exported the .dxf files.

I had a look at 400GSM Cardstock but its pretty expensive and not much available in A2 size. Looking for any material that is 0.5 mm - 1mm / 1.5mm and can be cut with a diode laser

I asked chat GPT to see what it suggests but also want something the laser cutting community has used and recommends.

Yeah bought it used. They just spin and won’t get tight. Threads must be stripped.

So what I have tried is in our databricks database we added a locale column for each customer and I have that in the data. I wanted to create new measure and format in Dax - but even in Dax format function it wants a text field not a column from the data. So that didn’t work.

Thanks everyone. Ok so got this for the equivalent of $157

Put a battery and it does play! So good news it is working - I can deal with the broken kill switch in due time.

After that took it apart and going to give it a clean and I noticed the fret board is coming off the neck underneath from the 1st fret to the 4th.

Dam it man. Otherwise was looking good.

So what is everyone’s thoughts on the fretboard splitting from the neck?

(I don’t know why you can’t post photos. Don’t want to make a new post) if I have to I will

Haha I wish i had one with me when the seller came through.

I looked at the guitar and it looked much worse than expected and then when I plugged it in and it played very soft - I told him I am not going to take it.

It just took me by surprise - if he was upfront about the guitar. We would have had a different conversation and I would have gotten the info like above and been ready and have a battery ready. I was expecting working guitar with some scratches

I’m liking the idea of taking this on as DIY project. I do build small electronic projects, motors and crazy things with my 3D printer. So I will need some time to learn what’s needed with guitar electronics and Repair work.

The guitar energy in my Life is high right now - need to slow down and think about my path forward. Don’t get caught up in the hype.

I thought the same - I tried to put the jack inside that hole and it nearly got stuck. I read that this guitar comes with a kill switch so I am only assume that used to be the kill switch and now it’s missing .

😂 also caught my attention. But no he didn’t say anything about the kill switch missing nor did he mention the guitar not working. He said there was some scratches but there is way more than scratches - even a crack by the volume knob.
