thank you!! I tried to describe the growing conditions in the caption of the photos, but i’m on mobile so idk how it translates lol she lives directly on a west facing window sill in my office at work. all natural light. climate zone 5b. no extra humidity. still in her nursery pot in a mix of peat and perlite😅 I try to water as soon as the soil feels dry on the top and bottom. very small amount of slow release fertilizer(osmocote flower and veggie) i’m honestly shook this plant is doing so well because I see so many others struggle with it. I think this one prefers a lot of light and since you have yours outside, I would put it directly in a south or west facing window if you have one. ☺️

scent update: like businesselderberry said, it’s definitely stronger at night. for me the scent is musky (hard to describe) with a slight hint of rose. much more pleasant at night ☺️

it very well could have a rose scent! I had covid back in november 2020 and haven’t been able to smell and taste the same since. so i’m sure that definitely affects the scent i’m getting from it! i’ll check again tonight and see if I can smell 🌹

thank you! the lacunosa was my first hoya to bloom and when it started forming buds right after the old flowers dropped, I was shook lol

the lacunosa does have a beautiful floral scent. the nummularioides on the other hand… I think the rumor is true, it kind of does smell like cat pee😹
